Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Thursday’s session rising, on the back of the growth in five sectors and some leading stocks.
The main index rose 0.34% or 28.07 points to 8,172.18 points, pushed up by Qatar Islamic Bank with 1.45%, Rayan with 0.93%, and QNB with 0.15%.
The real estate rose 1.64%, on the back of Ezdan with 2.93%, and the banks grew 0.56%, backed up by seven stocks, led by Ahli United with 8.55%.
On the other hand, two sectors dropped, as goods and services fell 0.28%, dragged down by Qatar German with 4.03%, and industrials declined 0.14%, as The Investors dropped 2.94%.
Turnover fell to QAR 145.27 million from QAR 150.57 million, while Trading volume increased to 8.45 million shares from 4.9 million shares.
Qatar First Bank, up 2.75%, achieved the highest activity, with 4.6 million shares, generating QAR 28.9 million.
