Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a negative performance on Tuesday, dragged down by the fall of all sectors.
The general index sank 1.94% or 205.65 points to reach 10,416.89 points.
The insurance sector led losers with a 2.15% decline as Qatar Insurance Co. sank 2.98%.
The banks sector slid 1.53% due to a decrease in Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) by 2.15%.
The real estate sector levelled down 1.1% as Barwa Real Estate slid 1.38%.
Turnover amounted to QAR 524.7 million on Tuesday, compared to QAR 456.63 million on Monday. Trading volume reached 14.4 million shares, compared to 12.55 million shares.
Medicare Group was the value leader after generating QAR 66.6 million, while Vodafone Qatar was the most active stock with a trading volume of 1.5 million shares.
