Mubasher: The benchmark index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Wednesday’s trading session 0.08% or 6.14 points higher at 8,171.20 points.
The telecom segment topped three gainers with 1.82%, backed by Ooredoo which rose by 2.14% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the goods sector led four decliners with 1.05%, dragged by Medicare Group which lost 2.06%.
QSE’s turnover decreased to QAR 132.07 million on Wednesday compared to QAR 339.18 million in the prior session, after the trading volume grew to 6.09 million shares from 4.92 million.
Al Khaleej Takaful Group was the most active stock on which 1.3 million shares were traded, edging down 0.27%.
Qatar National Bank (QNB) recorded the highest liquidity of QAR 30.8 million, down 0.33%.
