Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed on positive note on Sunday supported by the gains of both the insurance and banking sector.
The main index went up 0.08% or 8.64 points to close at 10,725.98 points.
The insurance sector added 0.94%, followed by the real estate sector as it gained 0.37%.
On the flip side, the real estate sector slide 0.37% pressured by Mazaya Qatar as it lost 2.44%
The market witnessed 6.9 million shares changed hands worth QAR 174.8 million.
Vodafone Qatar topped today’s declines as it slide 0.31% with 1.07 million shares changed hands.
