Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Thursday’s session rising by 0.8% or 8.48 points to the level of 10,371.17 points.
Trading volume increased 28.93% to 8.11 million shares from 6.29 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also rose 24.1% to QAR 230.95 million from QAR 186.07 million.
Industries Qatar grew 3.8%, Commercial Bank of Qatar advanced 0.54%, Masraf Al Rayan increased 0.43% and Ezdan leapt 0.26%.
The consumer goods sector declined 1.86% as Qatar Cinema led the red list after falling by 9.52%, the real estate sector dropped 1.13% due to a 2.4% decrease in Mazaya Qatar, and the banking sector slid 0.01%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector rose 1.79% as Qatari Investors topped gainers by adding 9.9%.
Aamal was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 2 million shares, while Qatari Investors made the highest liquidity of QAR 63.6 million.
