Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose at Monday’s close by 0.02% or 2.03 points to the level of 9,782.83 points.
QNB rose 0.26%, Industries Qatar increased 0.86% and QIB levelled up 0.2%
Trading volume increased to 6.29 million from 2.89 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose to QAR 158.6 million from QAR 81.24 million.
The industrial sector grew 0.54% as Qatar Industrial Manufacturing leapt 2.86% and Gulf International advanced 0.69%.
The banking sector grew 0.32%, backed by a 5.45% rise in Commercial Bank of Qatar, best performing stock, and 0.76% in Doha Bank.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector declined 2.18% as Vodafone Qatar shrank 3.65%, the consumer goods and services sector slid 0.57% as Qatari German Medical led the red list after falling by 4.36%. The transportation sector fell 0.4%.
The real estate and insurance sectors also dropped by 0.39% and 0.3% respectively.
