Doha-Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a negative performance in Wednesday’s early trades.
The general index fell 0.26% or 30.81 points to reach 11,284.29 points by 10:00am Qatar time.
The index was weighed down by Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ), Qatar Industies and Masraf Al Rayan which fell 0.34%, 1% and 0.135 respectively.
The insurance sector led losers with a 0.77% decline, followed by the transportation, industrial, real estate and banking sectors which retreated 0.66%, 0.57%, 0.03% and 0.02% respectively.
The market saw trading of 588,800 shares through 531 transactions, with a turnover of QAR 28.5 million.
