QSE down 0.33% in early trade

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell at Monday’s open by 0.33% or 34.63 points to the level of 10,402.13 points.

By 10:00am Doha time, trading volume reached 755,610 shares exchanged at BHD 17,500.

The transportation sector declined 2.35% due to a fall of 5.65% in Milaha, the worst performing stock, and 0.35% in Nakilat.

The industrial sector dropped 0.55% as Industries Qatar shrank 1.19%, the insurance sector fell 0.14% due to a 3.7% decrease in Doha Insurance.

On the other hand, the banking sector rose 0.29%, backed by an increase of 1% in QNB, and the real estate sector advanced 0.07% as Ezdan leapt 0.60%.

Al Khaliji Bank topped gainers by adding 2.6%..

Nakilat made the highest activity with a trading volume of 320,630 shares exchanged at QAR 7.38 million.
