Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell 0.1% or 10.76 points to 10,325.6 points in Tuesday’s early trades.
By 10 am Qatar time, three sectors declined led by insurance with 0.37% as Qatar Insurance Company lost 0.57%.
The transportation sector shed 0.42% after Qatar Navigation decreased 1.2%, while the consumer goods sector edged down 0.05% as Widam Food Co and Salam International Investment Ltd tumbled 2.48% and 0.95%, respectively.
On the other hand, four sectors rose topped by the telecoms sector with 0.46% as Vodafone Qatar led the risers with 2.84%, while Aamal’s stock topped losers with 3.3%.
Liquidity reached QAR 33.15 million after 2.1 million shares were traded through 580 transactions.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock led in terms of trading value and volume with QAR 13.03 million and 1.34 million shares traded.
