Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Sunday 1.05% or 104.7 points lower to reach 9,833.58 points.
The sectors fell collectively, led by the real estate sector which shed 1.65% as Mazaya Qatar Real Estate Development, Barwa, and Ezdan Holding Group lost 2.34%, 2.25%, and 1.60%, respectively.
The telecoms sector dropped 1.16% after Ooredoo decreased 1.18% and Vodafone Qatar declined 1.09%.
Gulf International Services led losers with 4%, whereas Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding was the best performer with 2.2%.
Traded volume rose to 9.1 million shares on Sunday against 8.26 million shares on Thursday, whereas liquidity dropped to QAR 198.73 million on Sunday against QAR 231.61 million.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock was the most active in terms of trading volume and value after 3.3 million shares were traded at a value of QAR 29.81 million.
Earlier on Sunday, the benchmark index shed 0.60%, reaching 9,879 points.
