Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday’s trading session down, dragged by the drop of four sectors.
By 09:55 am Qatar time, the main index fell 0.17 % or 12.64 points to 9,197.76 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 25.9 million after 732,500 shares were traded through 387 transactions.
The transportation sector topped the bourse's losers with 0.71% as Qatar Gas Transport and Qatar Navigation lost 0.84% and 0.79%, respectively.
The banking sector went down 0.46% after Qatar Oman Investment tumbled 2.72%.
Meanwhile, the goods and services sector topped the QSE’s three gainers with 0.85% as Medicare Group rose 3.68%.
Similarly, the industrial sector edged up 013%, encouraged by Qatari Investors Group’s 2.44% increase.
Doha Bank’s stock, which levelled up 1.01%, led the QSE in terms of traded volume with 195,010 shares, while Medicare Group topped the market in terms of liquidity with QAR 6.5 million.
