Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session down, pressured by the drop of four sectors.
By 10:10 am Qatar time, the main index fell 14.72 points, or 0.17 %, to 8,414.58 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 27.9 million after 2.2 million shares were changed hands through 584 transactions.
The industrial sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.57% as Mesaeed slid 5.24%.
Meanwhile, the banking sector topped the bourse’s gainers adding 0.26% after Qatar National Bank grew 0.84%.
Qatar First Bank’s stock, which advanced 0.29%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 886,970 shares, generating QAR 6.04 million.
