Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell 0.20% or 18.35 points to reach 9,325.22 points in Monday’s early trades.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the industrials sector shed 0.56% as Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) lost 1%.
The real estate sector edged down 0.07% after Mazaya Qatar tumbled 1.67%.
On the other hand, the transportation sector rose 0.20% as Gulf Warehousing increased 1.5%, while the banks sector inched up 0.01% after Al Khalij Commercial Bank levelled up 1.48%.
Trading volume reached 373,020 shares through 284 transactions, generated QAR 13.17 million.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock led in terms of traded volume with 79,800 shares exchanged, declining 0.69%, while Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) was the most active in terms of trading value with a turnover of QAR 3 million, dropping 0.36%.
