QSE drops 4.97 pts at Tuesday’s open

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell 0.05% or 4.97 points to reach 10,105.48 points in Tuesday’s early trading.

By 10:00 am Qatar time, most of the sectors dropped with the exception of the real estate sector which rose 0.87% as Ezdan Holding Group gained 1.25%.

The transportation sector was the worst performer after Qatar Navigation (Milaha), Gulf Warehousing, and Nakilat lost 0.86%, 0.77%, and 0.40%, respectively.

The industrials sector shed 0.31% as Industries Qatar tumbled 0.68%, followed by Gulf International Services with 0.58%, and Aamal with 0.45%.

The banks sector levelled down 0.27% after Masraf Al Rayan, Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding, and Qatar National Bank (QNB) went down 0.72%, 0.59%, and 0.35%, respectively.

Liquidity reached QAR 18.17 million after 684,900 shares were traded through 360 transactions.

Ezdan Holding Group led in terms of traded volume and value with 182,920 shares trade at a value of QAR 3.01 million.
