Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday with a negative performance after its benchmark plunged 63.5 points, or 0.62%, to 10,192.52 points.
By 9:42 am Qatar time, the QSE’s trading volume reached 874,000 shares exchanged through 520 transactions at a turnover of QAR 17.53 million.
The consumer goods and services sector led losers with 1.14%, while the insurance sector rose 0.6%.
Mannai Corporation’s stock was the worst performer with 10%, while the stock of Aamal Company was the best performer with 2.63%.
United Development Company’s (UDC) stock, whihc tumbled 7.83%, led the bourse in terms of volume and value after 295,200 shares were exchanged, generating a turnover of QAR 4.13 million.
