Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday in red, falling to the 62-month low.
The general index dropped 0.21% or 17.11 points to 8,284.68-point level, which is the lowest level since July 2012.
The index was pressured by the fall in four sectors, led by the real estate with 3.57%, as its four stocks declined, led by Ezdan with 5.45%.
The banks also slid 0.43%, as many stocks declined, with Al Khaliji Bank in the lead with 2.44%.
On the other hand, three sectors grew, topped by the transportation with 0.13%, with Gulf Warehousing leading the gainers with 2.95%, and Qatar navigation rising 0.04%.
Trading volume went down to 6.77 million shares from 7.97 million shares, while turnover dropped to QAR 148.27 million versus QAR 165.73 million in the last session.
Vodafone Qatar, down 0.98%, led the trading in terms of volume with 1.6 million shares, while QNB achieved the highest turnover at QAR 38.4 million, falling 0.10% though.
