Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) main index recorded a slight rise in the early trade, as it leapt by 0.02% or 1.99 points to the level of 10.862.27 points.
Morning trading saw a trading volume of 522,270 shares exchanged through 528 trades, making a trading value of QAR 22.9 million.
The red list included three sectors; the services moved 0.25% down, followed by banking with a 0.23% decrease and the transportation with a fall of 0.19%.
However, real estate topped the gainers with a 0.18% increase, then telecom (+0.13%) and industrial (+0.06%). The insurance sector stayed at the same rates.
Early session saw 25 shares traded; 10 of them moved up, 10 others fell, and the five remaining was flat.
United Cooperative Assurance was the strongest share with a rise of 0.79%, while Gulf Warehousing Company was the weakest share with a loss of 3.23%.
QSE closed Sunday with a surge of 0.28% or 29 points, to the level of 10.860.28 points.
