Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell 0.20% or 18.33 points to reach 9,239.57 points in Sunday’s early trades.
By 10:05 am Qatar time, six sectors declined, led by the banks sector with 0.27% as Doha Bank lost 2.90%, whereas National Leasing Holding (Alijarah) rose 1.49%.
The consumer goods and services sector shed 0.27% after Qatar Fuel (Woqod) decreased 0.80%.
On the other hand, the transportation sector increased 0.75% as Qatar Navigation (Milaha) and Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (Nakilat) grew 1.33% and 0.58%, respectively.
Traded volume reached 589,300 shares with a liquidity of QAR 15.8 million, through 349 transactions.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock led in terms of trading volume with 131,800 shares exchanged, dropping 0.69%, while Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock was the most active in terms of traded value with a turnover of QAR 2.7 million, falling 0.30%.
