Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) inched down 0.01% or 0.76 points, reaching 9,029.4 points in Wednesday’s early trades.
By 9:42 am Qatar time, the transportation sector shed 0.45% as Qatar Navigation (Milaha) lost 1.88%, while the consumer goods and services sector dropped 0.43% as Qatar Fuel (Woqod) decreased 1%, and the industrials sector declined 0.05%.
On the other hand, the real estate and telecoms sectors increased 0.09%, while the banks sector remained stable.
Trading volume reached 133,220 shares through 122 transactions, at a value of QAR 6.33 million.
Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock led in terms of traded volume with 29,930 shares exchanged with a turnover of QAR 3.86 million.
