Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) general index rose slightly by 0.02% or 1.9 points at the end of Sunday’s session to close at 10,352.22 points.
Six sectors were in the green, headed by the insurance sector, which grew 1.06%, while the industrials sector was the only decliner with 0.06%.
Qatari German for Medical Devices surged 9.94%, while the Islamic Holding Group retreated by 2.6%.
The QSE’s liquidity plunged 25.1% to QAR 148.86 million, compared to QAR 198.73 million on Thursday, while trading volume surged 33.7% to 10.11 million shares on Sunday against 7.56 million shares in the previous session.
Qatar Aluminium Manufacturing Company’s (QAMCO) stock, up 0.38%, topped the QSE in terms of both trading volume and value after 2.65 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of QAR 34.04 million.
