Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday in the red, weighed by the transport sector.
By 0:42 am Qatar time, the general index slipped 0.08% or 8 points to 9,894.52 points.
The transport sector led fallers, losing 0.51%, whereas the real estate and industrial sector inched higher by 0.01% each.
Widam’s stock topped the QSE’s decliners, sliding 1.22%, whereas Islamic Holding Group led gainers, adding 1.3%.
Turnover amounted to QAR 6.8 million after 139,300 shares were exchanged through 140 transactions.
Woqood’s stock, down 0.07%, was the value leader with QAR 3.42 million in turnover, while Naqilat, down 0.28%, led in terms of volume with 56,830 shares exchanged.
