QSE ends 3-day gaining streak

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday’s trading falling 0.02% or 1.76 point to the level of 10,918.53 points, ending a three-day gaining streak.

The index was pressured by the fall in QNB, Masraf Al Rayan, QIB by 0.32%, 2.13% and 1.49% respectively.

Trading volume increased to 13.53 million shares from 11.66 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also rose to QAR 565.99 million from QAR 509.6 million.

The banking, insurance and telecom sectors dropped by 0.34%, 0.19% and 0.01% respectively.

Meanwhile, the industrial sector grew by 1.18% as Industries Qatar rose by 0.9%. The stock made the highest liquidity of QAR 79.21 million.

The real estate and consumer goods sectors also leapt by 0.72% and 0.1% respectively.
