Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ends Sunday’s trades in the green, as the general index rose 0.55%, or 42.29 points, to 7,756.55 points.
The real estate sector topped the QSE adding 3.65% on the back of Ezdan Holding Group’s 6.25% rise.
The industrial sector increased 1%, pushed by the Gulf International Services (GISS) which soared 4.72%.
Similarly, the banking sector went up 0.57% led by National Leasing Holding Company (NLHC) advancing 3.98%.
Doha Insurance Company’s stock (DOHI) topped the QSE gainers jumping 7.61%, while the Islamic Holding Group’s sector (IHGS) led the losers after dropping 5.83%.
On Sunday, liquidity decreased to QAR 122.85 million from QAR 1.22 billion on Thursday, while trading volume slid to 8.09 million shares against 16.08 million shares in the previous session.
Vodafone Qatar topped the QSE in terms of trading volume with 13 million shares, while Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company (MPHC) led the market in terms of liquidity with QAR 12.6 million.
