QSE ends Tuesday in green zone

Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Tuesday’s session 0.76% or 78.74 points higher, rising to 10,485.53 points.

The telecom segment topped gainers with 2.01%, on the back of Ooredoo and Vodafone Qatar which gained 2.33% and 0.33%, respectively.

Meanwhile, QSE’s consumer goods and services sector was the only decliner with a fall of 0.02%, dragged by Medicare which lost 0.78%.

The market’s turnover increased to QAR 502.92 million, as trading volume grew to 13.54 million shares.

Vodafone Qatar was the most active stock on which 1.91 million shares were exchanged.

Qatar International Islamic Bank recorded the highest liquidity of QAR 78.54 million, falling 0.44%.
