QSE ends Tuesday in red zone

Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Tuesday’s trading session lower by 0.01% or 1.6 points to close at 10,700.47 points.

Both the real estate and industrial sectors were the only decliners by 0.74% and 0.24% respectively.

Meanwhile, goods and services segment led five gainers with 1%, on the back of six shares topped by Qatar Fuel which gained 1.72% to be the top winner.

Blue chips affected the main index, as Qatar Industrial and Ezdan Holding fell by 1.4% and 1.16% respectively.

Liquidity shrank to QAR 247.15 million, as trading volume decreased to 6.81 million shares.

Vodafone Qatar was the most active stock on which 1.3 million shares were traded. The stock gained 1.27%.

Qatar Industrial recorded the highest liquidity that reached nearly QAR 50 million.
