QSE ends week in red zone pressured by leading stocks

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s (QSE) general index went down 0.46% or 51.33 points to close at 1,1134.81 points on Thursday.

The general index was dragged lower by the declines of leading stocks as Qatar Electricity and Water, Gulf Commercial Bank, Doha Bank and Qatar Industrial Manufacturing by 2.12%, 1.68%, 1.67% and 0.9% respectively.

Almost all the market sectors retreated collectively , topped by the industrial sector as it eased 0.5%, while the banking sector came in second place as it edged down 0.5% followed by the real sector as it went down 0.27%.

The market witnessed 4 million shares changed hands worth QAR 179.7 million.
