Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Monday’s trading with a fall of 0.9% or 93.46 points to the level of 10,309.92 points.
Trading volume reached 6.3 million shares exchanged at QAR 221.7 million through 2,586 transactions, compared to 6.98 million shares exchanged on Sunday at QAR 186 million.
The bourse’s sectors fell collectively, topped by the transportation sector with a 1.32% decrease as Nakilat shrank 1.53%.
The banking and insurance sectors dropped by 1.21% for each.
The industrial sector slid 0.56% as Qatar Industrial Manufacturing and Aamal retreated by 2.9% and 2.2% respectively.
The real estate sector fell 0.09% due to a decrease of 2.3% in Mazaya Qatar and 1% in United Development.
