Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange retreated 1.43% or 121.59 points to 8,406.16 points in Monday’s mid-session, after an early rise.
Al Rayan Islamic Index plummeted 2.71% to 2,978 points, and the All Shares Index dipped 1.93% to 2,237 points.
Turnover reached QAR 127.4 million through 3,658 trades on 5.6 million shares.
The telecom sector was the top loser by 3.75%, while telecom led gainers with a growth of 2.33%.
Qatar National Bank Al Ahli was the best performing share as it advanced 6.98%, whereas Mannai was the worst with 10% lower.
The bourse’s benchmark index closed yesterday with a sharp fall of 7.16% or 657.37 points to the level of 8,527.75 points.
