Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined in Monday’s early trading by 0.23% or 22.74 points to the level of 9,711.77 points.
Trading volume reached 537,050 shares exchanged at QAR 10.26 million through 256 transactions.
By 10:15am Doha time, the banking sector slid 0.38% as Al Khaliji Bank, the worst performing stock, retreated 1.13%.
The real estate sector shrank 0.27% due to a 0.41% decrease in Ezdan Holding, the industrial sector dropped 0.16% as Gulf International declined 0.34%.
On the other hand, the telecom sector grew 0.31%, backed by a 0.76% rise in Vodafone Qatar, the transportation sector advanced 0.04% as Nakilat leapt 0.09%.
