QSE falls 1.2% in week

Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell 1.15% or 121.60 points this week, reaching the level of 10,412.50 points.

Trading volume increased 83.97% to 59.3 million shares from 32.2 million shares exchanged last week, turnover also rose 96.73% to QAR 2.8 billion from QAR 1.45 billion.

The market capitalisation declined 0.98% or QAR 5.6 billion to QAR 559.6 billion, compared to QAR 565.2 billion a week ago.

The week saw 44 traded shares, of which 11 stock ended the week in green, 31 others declined and the two remaining were flat.
