Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday’s trading session in red territory.
By 09:55 am Qatar time, the general index declined 0.26% to 9,787.88 points, losing 25.4 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 21.2 million after 696 million shares were traded through 385 transactions.
The industrial sector topped the QSE’s decliners falling 0.4%, followed by the banking sector with 0.3%.
Meanwhile, the real estate and goods sectors headed the bourse’s gainers adding 1.3% and 0.46%, respectively.
Qatar Fuel’s (Woqod) stock, which rose 0.06%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 9.3 million, while Qatar First Bank’s (QFB) stock, which levelled up 1.05%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 159,340 shares.
