Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session in red territory.
By 10:05 am Qatar time, the general index dropped 39.05 points, or 0.42%, to 10,676.24 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 25.04 million after 1.28 million shares were traded through 835 transactions.
The banking sector headed decliners, falling 0.63%, pressured by the Commercial Bank of Qatar which retreated 2%.
Meanwhile, the industrials sector rose 0.21% after Aamal led gainers with 3.18%.
Aamal's stock registered the highest trading volume of about 252,400 shares, while Zad Holding's stock, which plunged 1.46%, headed the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 4.80 million.
