Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) shed 0.08% or 8.18 points reaching 10,102.66 points.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the banks sector declined 0.14% as Islamic Holding Group, Qatar National Bank (QNB), and Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) decreased 0.64%, 0.56%, and 0.49%, respectively.
The industrials sector shed 0.20% after Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC) lost 0.58%, followed by Industries Qatar with 0.48%, and Qatari Investors Group with 0.34%.
The real estate sector inched down 0.09% as Ezdan Holding Group and United Development Company tumbled 0.25% and 0.16%, respectively.
On the other hand, three sectors rose led by the transportation sector with 0.51% after Gulf Warehousing increased 1.76%, followed by Qatar Navigation (Milaha) with 0.58%, and Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (Nakilat) with 0.1%.
Liquidity reached QAR 22.17 million after 709,020 shares were traded through 528 transactions.
National Leasing Holding (Alijarah) led in terms of traded volume with 211,890 shares at a value of QAR 3.6 million.
