QSE falls 84.62 pts at Tuesday’s open

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a negative performance in Tuesday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of blue chips.

The general index declined 0.80% or 84.62 points to reach 10,537.92 points by 10:20am Qatar time.

The real estate sector decreased 0.95%, weighed down by Ezdan Holding Group which slid 1.03%.

The banks sector retreated 0.38% due to a decline in Doha Bank by 10%. The bank was the most active stock after generating QAR 21 million from the exchange of 596,100 shares.

The market’s turnover reached QAR 86.4 million after trading 2.2 million shares through 1,200 transactions.
