QSE falls at Monday’s open

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined 0.41% or 41.35 points to 10,389.99 points in Monday’s early trades.

By 10:10 am Qatar time, the industrials sector edged down 0.02% as Qatar Electricity and Water Company and Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding tumbled 0.65%, and 0.54%, respectively.

On the other hand, five sectors rose led by the telecoms sector with 0.29% as Vodafone Qatar's stock gained 1.27%, and Ooredoo added 0.19%.

The banks sector increased 0.24% as Qatar First Bank (QFB) grew 1.78%.

Ezdan Holding's stock led losers, falling2.85%, while Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company led the risers with 2.1%.

Liquidity reached QAR 45.79 million after 3.15 million shares were traded through 512 transactions.

Vodafone Qatar’s stock led in terms of trading value with QAR 1.5 million, while Ezdan Holding’s stock led in terms of traded volume with 15.9 million shares.
