Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Wednesday’s trading session in the red territory.
By 09:50 am Qatar time, the general index fell 88.72 points, or 0.86%, to 9,923.71 points.
The QSE’s liquidity amounted to QAR 28.03 million after 877,340 shares were traded through 453 transactions.
The real estate sector led decliners with 0.76%, followed by the banking and industrials sectors with 0.30% and 0.28%, respectively.
On the other hand, the insurance sector rose 0.59%, while the telecommunications sector inched up 0.01%.
