Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a bullish performance in the week ended 16 February 2017.
The main index went up 1.79% or 190.17 points to reach 10,819.30 points.
Liquidity amounted to QAR 1.339 billion this week, compared to QAR 1.289 billion last week. Trading volume reached 36.3 million shares, compared to 42.99 million shares.
The banks sector topped gainers with a 25.1% rise, followed by the real estate, consumer goods and services, and insurance sectors at 19.37%, 16.06% and 15% respectively.
Medicare Group led gainers with a 10.55% rise, while Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding was the worst performer after declining 5.35%.
