Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose in Tuesday’s early trading by 2.19% or 243.22 points to the level of 11,371.39 points.
Trading volume reached 4.4 million shares exchanged at QAR 229.58 million by 10:05 AM Doha time.
The index was backed by the rise in blue chips as QNB, Ezdan and Industries Qatar grew by 4.43%, 1.46% and 3.12% respectively.
The market’s sectors rose collectively, topped by the insurance, banking and transportation sectors with a growth of 3.04%, 2.21% and 2.16% respectively.
