Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Monday’s session rising by 0.3% or 30.78 points to the level of 10,172.95 points.
Trading volume increased 2.1% to 10.2 million shares from 7.94 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose 28.5% to QAR 421.88 million from QAR 313.04 million.
Ooredoo leapt 3%, Doha Bank rose 1.1%, Masraf Al Rayan grew 1.3% and Barwareal Estate advanced 1%.
The transportation sector rose 3.97% as Milaha topped the reen list by adding 9.94%, the telecom sector leapt 2.36%.
On the other hand, the real estate and banking sectors fell by 0.93% and 0.15% respectively.
Medicare Group made the highest trading activity with a volume of 1.9 million shares exchanged at QAR 116 million.
