Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index rose at Tuesday’s open by 0.38% or 40.37 points to the level of 10,799.77 points.
By 10:20am Doha time, turnover reached QAR 84.2 million as 2.2 million shares were exchanged.
The real estate sector grew 0.94%, backed by an increase of 1.9% in Barwa Real Estate, which made the biggest trading volume activity with 678,710 shares.
The banking sector advanced 0.37% as Masraf Al Rayyan topped gainers by adding 3.34%. The stock made the highest turnover of QAR 26.61 million.
Meanwhile, the industrial and telecom sectors fell 0.39% and 0.07% respectively.
