Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index rose in Sunday’s early trading by 0.38% or 42.41 points to the level of 11,177.22 points.
Trading volume reached 616,300 shares exchanged by 10:00 AM Doha time through 654 transactions, making a turnover of QAR 38 million.
The index was backed by the growth in Dlala, which topped the green list by adding 1.9%, QNB, Industries Qatar and Ooredoo also leapt by 1.4%, 0.44% and 0.69% respectively.
The banking sector was the best performer with an increase of 0.58%, followed by the insurance and industrial sectors as they grew by 0.43% and 0.39% respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer goods and services sector was the only decliner after falling by 0.26%.
