Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Monday’s trading with a growth of 0.57% or 64.03 points to the level of 11,261.51 points.
The index was backed by the rise in Industries Qatar, QNB and Commercial Bank of Qatar by 2.46%, 1% and 0.45% respectively.
Trading volume grew to 4.49 million shares from 4.28 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also increased to QAR 182.31 million from QAR 164.86 million.
The telecom sector was the best performer after adding 1.1%, followed by the industrial sector with a rise of 0.93%.
The banking and real estate sectors leapt 0.58% and 0.08% respectively.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector was the only decliner as it fell by 0.02%.
