Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index rose in Sunday’s early trading by 0.71% or 70.19 points to the level of 9,983.94 points.
Trading volume reached 3.5 million shares exchanged at QAR 82.01 million through 1,480 transactions.
By 10:45am Doha time, QNB leapt 0.66%, Ezdan Holding grew 0.47% and Industries Qatar advanced 1.38%.
The industrial sector ascended 0.81%, backed by a 2.27% rise in Gulf International; the stock made the highest turnover of QAR 13.82 million.
The consumer goods and real estate sectors leapt by the same percentage of 0.71%, banking (+0.68%), telecom (+0.57%), transportation (+0.54%) and insurance (+0.09%).
