Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose in Sunday’s early trading by 0.65% or 71.53 points to the level of 11,026.84 points.
By 10:30 Doha time, trading volume reached 2.17 million shares exchanged at QAR 70.7 million through 1,340 transactions.
The index was supported by the rise in blue chips as QNB, Ezdan and Industries Qatar leapt by 0.77%, 0.8% and 1.79% respectively.
The insurance, consumer good, industrial and real estate sectors rose by 1.39%, 0.68%, 0.67% and 0.64% respectively.
On the other hand, the transportation sector fell alone by 0.17%.
