Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index rose 0.82% or 87.77 points to the level of 10,819.30 points at Thursday's closing session.
The index was supported by a number of leading stock, such as Masraf Al Rayan which climbed 1.57%, followed by Qatar National Bank (QNB) and Ezdan by 0.47% and 0.46%, respectively.
The real estate increased 1.57%, backed by United development Co. R which went up 2.86%.
The banks sector also added 0.75%, supported by QNB and Masraf Al Rayan.
The telecom sector led gainers and levelled up 1.75%; the transport advanced 0.92% and the consumer good by 0.66%.
Turnover rose to QAR 531.9 million from QAR 384 million on Wednesday. Traded volume also increased to 13.3 million shares compared to 9.35 million shares yesterday.
Qatar General Insurance, which fell 2.44%, was the most active in terms of traded volume and value exchanging 3.05 million shares at a value of QAR 124.3.
