Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) initiated Monday’s session on a strong note, as the benchmark edged up by 0.98% to 9,714.75, adding 94.18 points.
At 10:00am Qatar time, 1.88 million shares worth QAR63.8 million were traded in 1,246 transactions.
Sector-wise, the telecoms was the best advancer with a rise of 2.04%, followed by insurance (+1.85%), real estate (+1.65%), industrials (+0.92%), banks (+0.70%), transportation (+0.34%), finally consumer goods (+0.24%).
Gulf International Services headed the risers by 8.57%, while Widam Food topped the decliners by 3.22%.
