Mubasher: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) levelled up 0.22% or 20.1 points to 9,115.55 points at Sunday’s opening.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, all sectors rose, except for transportation, which shed 0.16%.
The real estate sector led gainers, increasing 1.49%, after Mazaya Qatar, the top riser, grew 2.19%. Barwa and Ezdan Holding added 1.25% and 0.6%, respectively.
The services sector rose 0.87% after Medicare and Qatar Fuel (Woqod) gained 1.47% and 1.4%, respectively, while telecommunications went up 0.56%.
QSE trading volume reached 1.05 million shares, generating QAR 31.62 million.
The most active in terms of trading volumes was Ezdan Holding with 203,740 shares, while Qatar Fuel was the most actively-traded share in terms of trading value, generating QAR 9.68 million.
