QSE grows 34 pts at Monday’s close

Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) general index rose 34.49 points, or 0.34%, to close at 10,226.68 points on Monday.

The QSE’s liquidity climbed to QAR 288.99 million on Monday, compared to QAR 236.82 million in the previous session, while trading volume increased to 15.43 million shares from 15.12 million.

The real estate sector grew 4.81% after Ezdan Holding advanced 8.08%.

Meanwhile, the banking sector rose 0.98% as the heavyweight Qatar National Bank (QNB) went up 1.17%.

On the other hand, the goods sector fell 0.24% led by Mannai Corp which declined 5.35%, while Widam Food dropped 0.77%.

Ezdan Holding’s stock led QSE in terms of trading volume and value after 4.33 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of QAR 48.58 million.
