Kuwait – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) inched up 0.07% or 7.46 points to reach 10,442.63 points by 10:05am Qatar time on Monday.
The index was backed by blue chips including Industries Qatar, Qatar Islamic bank, and Barwa Real Estate with a rise of 0.29%, 0.76%, and 0.44% respectively.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector topped four gainers with a growth of 0.75%.
Real estate, consumer goods, and transportation sectors were the only decliners with a fall of 0.38%, 0.23%, and 0.02% respectively.
QSE’s liquidity reached about QAR 67.1 million after around 1,760 shares were exchanged through 567 transactions.
