QSE incurs losses at open

Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a bearish performance in Thursday’s early trades.

The general index declined 0.81% or 84.23 points to reach 10,368.05 points by 10:00am Qatar time.

The All Share Index fell 0.44% or 12.49 points to 2,852.91 points, while Al Rayan Islamic Index added 0.02% or 0.52 points to 4,002.88 points.

The market saw trading of 2.06 million shares through 1,060 transactions, with turnover of QAR 61.79 million.

Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) was the worst performer after losing 12.33%, while Qatari Investors Group topped gainers after adding 6.02%.

Mazaya Qatar Real Estate Development was the most active company after trading 635,120 shares, while Qatari Investors was the value leader after generating QAR 9.3 million.
